The other day I was snooping around online and came across some patio lights that I thought would be perfect accent lights for our patio and garden.They were outdoor fairy lights.

Cute little buggers,they came in various settings and positions.I could picture placing them throughout the yard in conspicuous locations. That way when it got dark they would help transform the yard into a magical “fairy tale land”.

The idea came about after my wife suggested adding some solar lighting to the yard,some sort of a theme.So when I found those,it was clear what I would do.

Amazon as always has a nice selection.The first one that I considered was the Moonrays Solar Power Fairy with Sunflowers.She is a little cutie with her wings and sunflowers.She would be perfect by bench near the flower garden that my wife added to the yard this year.

We have a planter that runs along the sidewalk.I thought that the “Solar Kissing Fairy” would look nice there.Anyone walking down the sidewalk would get a nice little surprise!

There is a nice maple tree in the center of our yard that we have surrounded with plantings and ground cover.My wife suggested putting the Echo Valley Sleeping Fairy there.Nestled in amongst the ground cover plants.

The “Fairy Solar Garden Statue” would fit just right next to our small pond.There is just something about it that seems to go with the setting.

For something a little different,I thought I would try using solar string lights in our bushes at the side of the yard.It kind of gives the effect of seeing glowing fairies from a distance.
